WOODLAND MIRROR BLACKTHORN SCULPTURE


This Woodland Mirror Sculpture has been individually handcrafted from Blackthorn, showing lovely grain markings it has been hand waxed and varnished. The mirror glass has been inserted, pinned and taped for a lovely finish. The mirror is ready to hang. Numbered and signed by the artists.

"Blackthorn also known as "Crataegus Tomentosa Mother of the Woods or Wishing Thorn" Blackthorn creates a strong psychic barrier against negativity and helps us to stand our ground and fight our cause. It is said that dense Blackthorn thickets kept the Romans out of Anglesey, North Wales, making it one of the last Druid strongholds".
