TORGOYLE ART OLOGY was founded in 2004 by Karen Hansen and Natalie Golding who are both Artists / Artisans, photographers and in April 2008 became members of The Guild of Essex Craftsmen.

We are based in Latchingdon, Essex between the picturesque river-side town of Maldon well known for The Battle of Maldon when in 991AD the Vikings raided the Essex coast and Burnham-on-Crouch a historic town best known as a yachting centre. Here you will find our Workshop and Arts & Crafts Gallery where all the beautiful bespoke items are individually handcrafted in wood.

We are inspired from our love of history and culture from all over the world throughout the ages Gothic, Celtic, Roman, Aztec, Medieval, Rock art from Kilmartin & Viking to name but a few, which reflect in our mirrors, chairs, sconces & mirrored sconces. Using reclaimed wood for most of our bespoke items, this aged and interesting natural wood is used to create wonderful items that will enhance your home, all individually handcrafted, the end result will always be a unique piece that will be distinctive and decorative.
